How do you get the sound to go through from laptop to TV using an S-Video Cable?
I’m using an Everex 17″ screen laptop with Vista. I want to hook up the laptop to the TV just a standard crummy TV to use as a DVD player at work. Its easier than hauling a PS2 and all the cables back and forth. I got the display to go through using the S-Video cable but I can’t get the sound to come out through the TV speakers. Just the computer.

Plug the black jack into your laptop and red and white jacks into TV’s audio input (AUX).
